I'm thinking maybe some former visitor to Reno area, or a local might know if there is a small casino or "off the beaten path" place to gamble inexpensively.
I am shocked and can't afford these fancy casinos with dollar minimum bets on Blackjack. Any body know if this is possible to find and where? I play both so I always look for the less expensive tables myself. I played 25 cent roulette when I was in Reno last month at Cal-Neva. I think at times the minimums go up to 50 cents a chip but I saw the quarter table open quite a bit.

He settles disputes, counts the money, and generally makes sure things are running smoothly. He also watches the dealers to make sure they're paying off winnings and taking in losses accurately.
If it is especially crowded and especially large bets are being placed, there may be a boxperson at each side of the table. There are three dealers at each table actually, four dealers are assigned to each table, but they rotate so that one is always on break.
